These 4 outstanding students went through an application and interview process to earn their place as Junior Advisors. They will bring new perspectives, energy, and ideas to our work. Their involvement strengthens the connection between young people and the community, fosters civic responsibility, and ensures that future generations are invested in the well-being and growth of our neighborhood.

| SAIMANAS “MANAS” THAMBIREDDY is a senior at Riverwood International Charter School, enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program. He volunteers with the National Honor Society, serving as Vice President this year. He has assisted in coaching youth tennis groups and been involved in causes to preserve our natural environment. He plans to organize a non-profit initiative to support Special Olympics in the coming year. |
| TAL ELKOUNOVITCH is a senior in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program at Riverwood International Charter School, and is a graduate of the Youth Leadership Sandy Springs program. He has led the Uniforms United project, collecting soccer cleats for donation to disadvantaged children throughout the world. His volunteer experience also includes domestic and international travel with Maccabi USA/JCC Cares where he worked on programs to distribute food to those in need. |
| MALIA KEITA is a junior at Riverwood International Charter School, and has attended High Point Elementary and Ridgeview Charter Middle School. She is serving in her school’s Student Council, and sings in a choral group. Her volunteer experiences include Open Hands, as well as several programs and services at Riverwood. |

SAVANNAH FRIEDMAN is a junior at Pace Academy. She has volunteered extensively with the Breakthrough Type One Diabetes non-profit, representing Georgia as a state delegate, meeting with congress members and senators, and speaking at a Sandy Springs City Council meeting. She is a graduate of the Youth Leadership Sandy Springs program, and is a spokesperson for Pace Academy’s Model UN program.
