“I appreciate the sense of community in Sandy Springs. While helping run the Solidarity Food Pantry to serve our food insecure neighbors in the Latinx community, so many High Point Neighbors have come together to donate food, funds to buy food and volunteered in the actual Food Pantry. One group of neighbors took on the USDA's Summer School lunch program. They have come together to support so many of the special events we have held-Mother's Day Shopping, Easter Baskets, End of School celebration, Back to School, Fourth of July Cookout. They are helping address a crisis in our own back yard. They are neighbors helping neighbors.”
